The Lord gave me a message. He said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world. “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” “Don’t say that,” the Lord replied, “for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Then the Lord touched my mouth and said, “See, I have put my words in your mouth! Jeremiah 1:4-9

Having served as a Sunday school/children’s ministry leader in my church and as a student preacher in High School, my love for God and His work continued and grew deep. After several arguments and debates, little did I know I needed to establish all I was and did on one solid foundation: Jesus Christ and He only.

I joined The Navigators Ministry in September 2016 in my first year at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, when Jerry and Johnson invited me to a Saturday morning Bible Study. Two scriptures (Ephesians 2:8-9 and 1 John 5:11-12) jumped at me at this first meeting. I took time and engaged these passages later in my closet when I returned from the meeting. My mind was drawn to the sacrifice our Gracious Lord Jesus Christ made for me and the world at large. That led me to recommit my Christian walk and journey to the Lord again, following the last one in High School. After that, I joined the Independence Hall Bible Study group weekly, led by Daniel, Anita, Clara, Agnes, etc.

My knowledge of Christ, His Word, and work began to grow and deepen as I spent time with Him daily in His Word and Prayer (Quiet Time). My values and desires also began to align with that of the Lord. Within a short period, my heart for the lost grew, propelling me to take the initiative to extend Christ’s love, salvation, and discipleship to those around me and beyond. Later, I joined weekly Bible Study and discipleship meetings organized by Mr. John Komla Ansah in my second and third years at the University. In the final year, Dr. Selassie Tettedjie took over our weekly Bible Study and discipleship meetings till we completed school. My deep love for the Lord, His Word, work, and the Lost, caused me to serve as a student leader in a few Christian ministries on campus aside from the Navigators.

After school, I committed my National Service year and served under the Navigators Ministry under the supervision of Mr. John K. Ansah and Dr. Selassie Tettedjie. I was posted to Mawuli School, Ho, a Senior High School in the Volta Region. As a teacher and a patron there, I had opportunities to share the gospel with and disciple some of my students and co-workers.

After my National Service, I joined the Navigators National Office for four months (September to December 2021) as a trainee staff, and learned administrative duties, and later the Kumasi Navigators Ministry for five months (January to May 2022), where I learned more about field ministry. My call into ministry became clearer during these periods. That made me sign up for two years (June 2022 to July 2024), a journey to Nigeria as a Ministry Trainee and a Missionary under the supervision of Mr. Bishen Ahuwan and Mr. Famose Abiodun.

I am currently a full-time field ministry staff of The Navigators of Ghana, under the leadership of Mr. John Komla Ansah, the National Director.

I believe God had a plan that made Him give me promises in His Word to hold onto so that his divine purposes will be fulfilled in my life as I continually trust and walk with Him.

Some key promises I hold onto are Isaiah 42:6-7; Matthew 6:33; Philippians 3:7-14, Philippians 4:6-7, and Romans 8:28-32.
