My journey with Navigators began in 2016 on the KNUST campus when Jerry and Johnson introduced me to Republic Bible Studies one Saturday morning. This marked a turning point that would forever alter the trajectory of my life.
I was baptized as a child and felt an insatiable hunger to know God more deeply. However, it wasn’t until I encountered Navigators that I discovered a community where I could truly explore my faith.
Under the guidance of Hannah, Yvonne, Nii Okine, and Kofi, I began to grasp the assurance of salvation – a concept that challenged my long-held beliefs. I remember arguing, fueled by ignorance, until the truth finally sank in: salvation is not by works, but by believing and confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior. My heart was transformed, and I was baptized by immersion in 2017.
As I delved deeper into God’s Word, I found myself overwhelmed with the knowledge of God’s Word during my quiet time; tears streamed down my cheeks as I uncovered the truth of God’s Word. My desire to know God intensified, and spending time with the Word became my top priority despite challenges.
With my heart set ablaze, I shared the Good News with others, expecting them to receive the Good News of Christ Jesus with the same zeal and passion to transform their lives. However, I realized that discipleship is a lifelong journey, not a one-day event. I’ve selected a few friends to share with them what God is teaching me.
I’m under John K’s mentorship and a member of the Navigator’s prayer ministry. I cling to John 14:12-14, believing we can demonstrate much of God’s power if we surrender our lives fully to Him.
With this passion for God’s Word comes a deep sense of responsibility to reach out to many others with the Good News of Christ Jesus, and I seek God’s face for grace even through doubts to fulfill this vision of Christ Jesus.
The truth of God’s word keeps me moving forward in this journey of transformation. When I commit to God’s Word I will be renewed in mind to fulfill His purpose for my life. So, I press on in this journey of transformation with our Lord.
