“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened”. Mathew 7:7-8

We marked our 50th anniversary which was launched in October 2022 with a 3-day climax celebration at the Accra Ridge Church Conference Hall. During these 3 days (26th-28th July 2024), there were people from different walks of life including some of the pioneer missionaries (Dave and Sherry Hall), who started the ministry in Ghana in 1974. The celebration also gave different generations of laborers who hadn’t met in a long time the chance to meet again and share fellowship, and also to thank God for the impact made through the ministry of Navigators in Ghana.

As a ministry, we believe we could not have had a better and timelier theme than “Break Camp & Advance” (Deuteronomy 1:6-8), even as we focus on ministry expansion to five new regions in Ghana by 2025.

Apostle J.F.K. Mensah, founder of the Christlike Disciplemakers Movement and rector of the Movement’s accredited Bible School, was the keynote speaker.  During the first and second days, he delivered an intriguing message urging the Ministry to continue advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the nations because the world now needs discipleship more than ever. He was very emphatic and didn’t mince words when he said, “The Lord is the one who is saying the Ghana Navigators have dwelt too long on this mountain; and hence must turn, break camp, and advance”. He challenged every navigator to go out of their comfort zones to be able to produce Christlike disciples.

On the second day, Apostle J.F.K. also talked about the fact that the Ministry of Navigators will remain relevant for the next 50 years and beyond. However, he added that the Ministry must be careful not to allow complacency to set in or sit aloof because God expects more work to be done towards world evangelism.

Part of the celebration marked the recognition and honoring of some key people who have dedicated their resources and lives in different capacities to make sure the ministry kept functioning for the past 50 years.

Truly, we could not have asked for a better time in God’s presence during this 50th-anniversary celebration. We asked for a successful climax celebration, but God gave us an unforgettable experience. All praise and thanks to Him for granting us this huge success. We couldn’t have done this by ourselves.

Another huge thanks also go to the entire anniversary planning committee, for the sleepless nights and the sacrifices made, to ensure a successful celebration of this milestone.  For want of space, we would like to acknowledge the following committee members for a great job done.
