On the 7th of March 2026, the Navigators Kumasi (KNUST Chapter) revisited the famous 5Fs (Family, Friends, Fellowship, Fun, and Food) program, which had halted for a long while. The goal of this program was to bring members, students, families, and friends together to have fun through games, connect with new people, and share meals. At the heart of it all was a deeper purpose: to share the Gospel and introduce new students to who the Navigators are and what we do (Discipleship). The program took place at the KNUST Botanical Gardens.

The day began with a welcome address from Forster Norpe Amuzu, a field staff of the Navigators Ghana stationed in Kumasi. He briefly spoke about the purpose of the event, drawing from Acts 2:42–47, the anchor passage for the 2026 ministry year in Kumasi. He highlighted the key activities of the early church disciples: the Word, fellowship, prayer, sharing of possessions and meals, and witness/evangelism. He concluded by encouraging participants to feel at home and to fully engage in every activity of the day.

The program then continued with a variety of fun-filled activities and games such as pick and act, Bible quiz, lime and spoon, and several others, creating an atmosphere of laughter, bonding, and healthy competition among participants.

In bringing the program to a close, Forster once again took the opportunity to share the Gospel, which resulted in a number of participants surrendering their lives to Christ after an altar call was made. It is also worth mentioning that some students expressed interest in being discipled after a brief introduction to who the Navigators are and what we do.

Though the event has ended, we are trusting God that intentional and strategic follow-up will be carried out so that these two groups of people, new believers and interested students, can be helped to grow and mature in their walk with God. Hence, we invite you to pray with us as you read this update.
