My name is S. Edwin. I first met Kwame Asomaning at Keta Senior High Technical School, where he was my Christian Religious Studies (CRS) teacher. Although I was a CRS student, the Bible was just another textbook to me, something I read only to pass my examinations. I didn’t see the importance of staying diligent and consistent in reading my Bible. But Kwame, being a blessed and gifted teacher, made the CRS lessons easy to understand.

A while after completing secondary school, I realized there was a void in me. I felt that something was missing in my life, a part of me was empty. I tried filling that void with worldly and ungodly music. It was during that season of realization that Kwame sent me a message, asking if I would be interested in joining a group (The Navigators Ghana) where people are groomed to become sons of God.

I joined after a short while, and things shifted in my life quickly. I became a dedicated student of the Bible, not just because we were to post our daily fellowship reflections, but because I saw that Kwame himself was a man of the Word. Eventually, I also took my prayer life very seriously.

Kwame noticed my new zeal and gave me the chance to serve as a prayer secretary in our fellowship. I led prayers and Bible studies, and for once in my life, I felt that my life was complete. I moved from not seeing the importance of the Bible to reading the entire Bible, where I was privileged to be enlightened by the Holy Spirit.

It has been a great journey, and I’m most grateful to God that He sent The Navigators my way to transform my life. God bless The Navigators Ghana.
