For many young people, even some Christians, the question “Who am I?” can be difficult to answer. With the opinions of others, personal achievements, circumstances, and the constant influence of the world around us, it is easy to lose sight of what truly defines us. At The Navigators Youth Camp 2026, themed “Identity: Who Am I?”, Justice found a fresh perspective on this important question through God’s Word and shares. 

“My main highlight from Youth Camp 2026 was the Bible study on “Identity: Who Am I?” The reminder from 1 Peter 2:9 that I am chosen by God, belong to Him, and have a purpose spoke deeply to me. I realized that I had allowed other people’s opinions, my achievements, and my circumstances to shape how I viewed myself, leaving me insecure and pressured to prove my worth. The lesson reminded me that my value is rooted in God’s love, not something I must earn. Knowing that I am chosen and called by Him gave me renewed peace, confidence, and purpose.”

“I plan to apply this lesson by spending more intentional time in God’s Word and allowing it to guide my decisions, relationships, and daily life. When I feel discouraged or uncertain, I will return to the truth of my identity in Christ rather than relying on circumstances or others’ approval. I also want to use my gifts to serve others and share God’s goodness. This camp helped me understand that knowing who I am in Christ is not only something to believe, but something I must live out every day.”

Through the generosity of our donors and partners, students are given such opportunities to encounter God’s Word, ask important questions about their lives, grow in their faith, and discover their identity and purpose in Christ. Youth Camp 2026 was more than an event; it was an opportunity to sow into the lives of young people and equip them to live with a clear understanding of who they are in Christ.
