On the 21st of December 2024, the ministry gathered in the spirit of gratitude and joy to celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness for 2024. God has faithfully worked through the ministry to plant seeds of faith and nurture spiritual growth across different generations. Not only that, but our golden jubilee celebration has also been an awesome experience. The theme for this year was: Celebrating God’s Faithfulness and Trusting Him for an Increase, Isaiah 60:22 NIV.
The service began with an uplifting praise and worship session, setting the tone for a day dedicated to honoring God. Mr. Emmanuel Baidoo, affectionately called Uncle Ebo, delivered the keynote message, centered on Psalms 150:6. He took the occasion and emphasized the need for “An Attitude of Gratitude”. He reminded the gathering that God has planted seeds within each person and expects them to grow as they nurture their faith with thanksgiving.
Key highlights from the program were that each person must remember the Seed in them. God calls every believer to recognize who they are in Christ and the blessings they have received. As they offer praise and gratitude, their faith is strengthened, enabling them to fulfill their purposes in Him.
Also, having faith in God is key. Drawing from Romans 12, participants were reminded of the importance of having both the faith of God and faith in God. This faith empowers them to overcome challenges and walk boldly in their callings.
Again, sharing the Gospel must be the hallmark of every believer. In Isaiah 60:22 and Philemon 1:6, Christians are challenged to partner with God in sharing the Gospel and nurturing those around them. God is ready to fulfill His promises, though he seeks men and women prepared to take up the mantle. Hence believers must constantly ask Him to open their eyes to the people around them, so they can help them grow in Christ.
In addition to the above, he emphasized having a habit of gratitude, at all times. This makes believers conscious of God’s presence and keeps them in tune with Him. As Psalm 107:1-3 establishes, everyone should cultivate a habit of thanking God for everything, even the so-called “small blessings” they often overlook.
Apart from these, there was a great time of testimonies from various ministry entities, families, and individuals, celebrating God’s wonder deeds for 2024. This included the National Director, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for His goodness and the milestones in the year especially, the Navigators Ghana 50th Anniversary celebration, which took place in July 2024. He was particularly thankful that despite the challenges in the year, including the passing of some beloved Navigators, God has remained faithful. He added that the ministry’s 5-Year Strategic Plan had led to expansion into three new regions, namely: Central, Western, and Volta. A course to be grateful to God.
He however had this charge for the gathering, the need for every individual to deepen their relationship with God going into 2025. Reiterating the ministry goal for 2025, “By the end of 2025 we see a fully funded ministry with functional entities established in five (5) locations led by committed competent laborers. He admonished members to reach out to the Lost within their circles, be it in their communities, workplaces, or churches to achieve the goal.
The event ended with a refreshing sumptuous meal and a great time of networking, reconnecting, and merry making.
A Big Thank You to the organizers of the program and every participant. We look forward to a fruitful 2025, even as we BREAK CAMP and ADVANCE. Deuteronomy 1:6-8
