Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose iniquity the LORD does not count against him, in whose spirit there is no deceit (Psalms 32:1-2, BSB).

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does (Psalms 1:1-3, BSB).

But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. 8 He is like a tree planted by the waters that sends out its roots toward the stream.  It does not fear when the heat comes, and its leaves are always green.  It does not worry in a year of drought, nor does it cease to produce fruit (Jer 17:7-8, BSB).

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is near (Rev 1:3, BSB)

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you (Mat 5:10-12, BSB).

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him (James 1:12 BSB)

True discipleship consists in first following and then knowing the Lord. The believing surrender to Christ and submitting to His word to expect what appears most improbable is the only way to the full blessedness of knowing Him.
